Gloucestershire police are investigating an act of vandalism at Redmarley Village Hall, where a group of youths spray-painted graffiti across a 20-foot stretch of the building. The incident occurred over the recent Bank Holiday weekend, leaving the local community shocked by the permanent damage.
The village hall, a cherished gathering place near Newent, was defaced between Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4, 2025. Authorities have issued a community alert appealing for information to identify those responsible.
An official police statement reads: “We are appealing for information following damage caused to Redmarley Village Hall over the Bank Holiday weekend, believed to be the work of a group of youths who spray-painted words and pictures on a 20-foot section of the hall.”
