Young Motorcyclist Airlifted After Serious Cotswolds Crash

A young motorcyclist remains hospitalized after being airlifted from the scene of a serious crash in the Cotswolds. Emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision on the A429 Fosseway in Stow-on-the-Wold at approximately 4:15 pm on Saturday, April 25.

The crash, which occurred near Old Quarry Farm, involved a silver Triumph Trident motorcycle and a blue Volkswagen Polo. The biker, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital Coventry, where he continues to receive treatment.

Gloucestershire Police have launched an appeal to identify a motorist who may have witnessed the incident. According to a police spokesperson on May 5, officers now believe a dark-colored Volkswagen Sharan was traveling directly behind the vehicles involved in the collision and could provide crucial information.

Authorities are urging the driver of this vehicle, or anyone else who witnessed the crash or has relevant footage, to come forward. Information can be submitted through the Gloucestershire Police online reporting form, quoting incident number 314 of April 25.
