A young motorcyclist is currently in hospital after being airlifted from the scene of a serious crash on the A429 Fosseway in Stow-on-the-Wold. The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 pm on Saturday, 25 April, involving a silver Triumph Trident motorbike and a blue Volkswagen Polo near Old Quarry Farm.
The rider, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and was transported by air ambulance to University Hospital Coventry, where he remains under medical care.
Gloucestershire Police have launched an appeal for witnesses, particularly seeking the driver of a dark-colored Volkswagen Sharan believed to have been following directly behind the vehicles involved. This individual may have crucial information about the circumstances leading up to the collision.

Authorities urge the driver of the Volkswagen Sharan or anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant footage to contact the police as soon as possible. Information can be provided via the Gloucestershire Police online portal by citing incident number 314 of 25 April.
