Gloucestershire Police have provided an update following their appeal for information regarding an incident at an ATM in Gloucester. After a CCTV appeal was released, a woman has come forward, and police have expressed their gratitude to the public for sharing the appeal and providing valuable information.
The incident took place outside the Asda store in Bruton Way, Gloucester, on Thursday, 2 July, at approximately 4.30pm. A member of the public attempted to withdraw money from the cashpoint, but due to a fault, the cash was not dispensed immediately, prompting the customer to walk away.
Shortly after, the machine dispensed £250 as another person approached to use the ATM. It is believed this individual took the money. When the rightful owner of the cash spoke to this person soon after, there was no attempt to return the money or to alert store staff or the police.

Officers are now seeking to speak with the woman pictured in connection to this matter.
