During the Gold Cup event at the Cheltenham Festival, a woman in her 20s was violently attacked by two women, believed to be a mother and daughter. The assault occurred on Friday, March 13, at approximately 1:10 p.m. inside the women’s restroom at the Evesham Road site.
The victim was subjected to a brutal attack in which a clump of her hair was pulled out, and she was hit multiple times around the head. Security personnel quickly intervened, escorting the two assailants from the racecourse.
Gloucestershire Police have launched an appeal for information regarding the incident and have released images of two women they wish to speak to in connection with the attack.

One suspect is described as being in her 50s, with long straight blonde hair reaching just below her shoulders. At the time, she wore a black and white tweed cape-style coat, a black top, black tights, and black knee-length boots.
The second suspect appears to be in her 20s, with long curly blonde hair. She was wearing a fluffy brown coat paired with knee-high heeled boots.
Authorities acknowledge that the released images are not very clear but encourage anyone who recognizes these women to provide information by submitting a report online, quoting occurrence number 53260012005.
