A 41-year-old man from Gloucester has been arrested on suspicion of raping a woman in a street incident that occurred on Stroud Road at approximately 9:30 pm on Sunday, June 21. Gloucestershire Police confirmed the crime was reported in the early hours of Monday, June 22.
Following a thorough investigation, the suspect was taken into custody and is currently being questioned. Police have established a scene guard on Stroud Road as enquiries continue.
