Woman in her 70s Dies in Collision with Recovery Truck on A361 in Cotswolds

A tragic collision on the A361 between Burford and Lechlade in the Cotswolds has claimed the life of a woman in her 70s. The accident, involving a Range Rover and a Vauxhall recovery truck, occurred shortly after 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 26.

The woman, who was driving the Range Rover, received emergency medical treatment at the scene but sadly died there. Meanwhile, the recovery truck driver, a man in his 20s from Oxfordshire, was taken to hospital and remains in serious condition.

Thames Valley Police have launched an investigation into the incident. A spokesperson urged anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage to come forward to help with the inquiry.
