A tragic car accident near Stroud has claimed the life of a 90-year-old woman. Emergency services were dispatched at approximately 4:40 PM on Friday, May 1, following a collision involving two vehicles on the A419 Ebley Bypass.
According to Gloucestershire Police, the crash involved a black Audi A6 and a blue Honda Jazz. The driver of the Honda, a 90-year-old woman from Stroud, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Southmead Hospital. Despite medical efforts, she sadly passed away on Sunday, May 3.
Her family has been informed and is receiving support from a specially trained officer dedicated to assisting those affected by such incidents.

The driver of the Audi, a woman in her 60s from Monmouthshire, suffered minor injuries. She was treated at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and has since been discharged.
