A woman has been formally named and charged in connection with a stabbing incident near Cheltenham.
The attack occurred just after 10pm on Saturday, 25 July, close to the roundabout on Evesham Road in Bishop’s Cleeve. A man suffered a suspected stab wound and is currently in hospital, reported to be in a stable condition.
Jaimee Saunders, aged 21, from Minetts Avenue, Bishop’s Cleeve, faces charges of section 18 wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Gloucestershire Police have confirmed she has been remanded in custody.

Saunders is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday, 28 July.
Additionally, a woman in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to the incident. She has since been released on bail with conditions attached.
Police investigations are ongoing, and officers have appealed to the public for any information or footage relevant to the case.
“Enquiries into the incident are continuing and investigating officers are asking the public to make contact if they have any information or footage they feel may be relevant,” said a Gloucestershire Police spokesperson.
