A 21-year-old woman has been formally charged following a stabbing incident near Cheltenham that left a man hospitalised.
The incident took place just after 10pm on Saturday, 25 July, near the roundabout on Evesham Road in Bishop’s Cleeve. The victim, a man, suffered a suspected stab wound and remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Jaimee Saunders, from Minetts Avenue in Bishop’s Cleeve, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, under section 18 of the Offences Against the Person Act.

Gloucestershire Police confirmed that Saunders has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday 28 July.
In a related development, a woman in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in connection with the incident. She has since been released on bail with conditions.
The police investigation is ongoing, with officers appealing to the public for any information or footage that could assist with enquiries.
“Enquiries into the incident are continuing and investigating officers are asking the public to make contact if they have any information or footage they feel may be relevant,” a Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said.
