During the Gold Cup event at Cheltenham Festival on Friday, March 13, a woman in her 20s was assaulted by two women in the women’s restroom at the Evesham Road site, Gloucestershire Police have confirmed.
The attackers, believed to be a mother and daughter, reportedly pulled out a clump of the victim’s hair and struck her multiple times around the head. The incident occurred around 1:10 p.m., and security personnel promptly removed the two women from the racecourse.
Authorities have released images of the suspects and are seeking public assistance in identifying them. The first suspect is described as a woman in her 50s with long, straight blonde hair extending just below her shoulders. She was last seen wearing a black and white tweed cape-style coat, a black top, black tights, and black knee-length boots.

The second suspect is a woman in her 20s with long, curly blonde hair. At the time of the incident, she wore a fluffy brown coat and knee-high heeled boots.
