A woman was assaulted in broad daylight in Cirencester when another woman punched her in the face over the weekend. The incident occurred on Cherry Tree Drive around 12:40 pm on Sunday, November 30.
Police were promptly notified and arrived at the scene. However, it remains unclear if the victim sustained any serious injuries during the attack.
Officers revisited the location on Monday, December 1, but were unable to make contact with the victim. The investigation into the assault is ongoing.

A witness reported to GloucestershireLive that the victim was punched in both the face and neck by another woman. A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson confirmed the assault had been reported but could not provide details on the victim’s condition. They also stated that despite their return to the address, no one was available to speak with, and inquiries are continuing.
Authorities urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation.
