A woman in her 20s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a suspected stabbing near the roundabout on Evesham Road, Bishop’s Cleeve. Gloucestershire Police responded to reports of an assault just after 10pm on Saturday, July 25, where a man suffered serious injuries.
Emergency services rushed the victim to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition with a suspected stab wound. Officers arriving at the scene found the suspect had fled on foot, prompting a search by armed police.
Early on Sunday morning, July 26, police located the woman near Winchcombe and took her into custody. In addition, another woman in her 50s was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. Both remain in police custody.

Authorities believe those involved know each other and have confirmed they are not seeking any further suspects. Investigations are ongoing, with several scene guards still in place.
