Tonight’s National Lottery draw is offering an exciting new format and a coveted £5 million jackpot. For the first time, the Lotto features two rounds in each Wednesday and Saturday draw, doubling your chances to win for the same ticket price.
The National Lottery explains, “New Lotto is here and it’s twice as exciting. Each draw now has two rounds, meaning two opportunities to win with every line played.” This change is expected to produce more winners and create more millionaires than ever before.
The jackpot remains the prize for matching all six numbers in either round, but it will be shared across both rounds. While this increases the likelihood of winning, it may also increase the chance of having to split the jackpot when there are multiple winners.
