Why Three Loungers Cafe Bars Will Close for One Day Only in Gloucestershire

Next Monday, June 9, three Loungers cafe bars across Gloucestershire will temporarily close their doors for a special occasion: LoungeFest, the company’s annual staff party. This one-day closure affects the Portivo Lounge in Gloucester Quays, Rosado Lounge on Church Street in Tewkesbury, and Fioro Lounge on Bath Road in Cheltenham. All locations will resume normal business on Tuesday, June 10.

LoungeFest has been a tradition since 2013, created to recognize and reward the dedication of more than 9,000 Loungers employees nationwide. The event has grown over the years, becoming a major celebration of the team’s hard work and passion for hospitality.

Guy Youll, Chief People Officer at Loungers, explained, “Back in 2013, Loungers was one of the first hospitality companies to host a party like this, and I’m proud that we’ve maintained this tradition, making it bigger and better every year. Our teams put in tremendous effort all year round, and LoungeFest is our way to celebrate their commitment and the excellent service they provide every day. It’s going to be a spectacular event!”

This year’s LoungeFest will take place at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire, with an exciting ‘At the Movies’ theme. Attendees will enjoy fairground rides, live DJ sets, multiple music stages featuring performances by bands and Loungers staff, interactive games, and a variety of food and drink stalls—all complimentary. This vibrant gathering reflects Loungers’ appreciation for their team as they continue to deliver exceptional hospitality.
