Who is Will Kirk’s wife? Inside The Repair Shop star’s private love life

Will Kirk, known for his expert carpentry skills on BBC One’s The Repair Shop, has won the hearts of many with his meticulous restorations of treasured heirlooms. The 40-year-old craftsman’s passion for antiques was inspired early on by watching his grandfather work in his workshop.

While Will’s professional life is well-documented, fans are equally curious about his personal life, especially his marriage to Polly Snowdon. The couple keeps their relationship largely private, sharing few details publicly.

Polly Snowdon is a distinguished academic, trained as a doctor. She studied psychology at the University of Exeter and later completed a doctorate in Educational Psychology at Essex University.

Will and Polly’s journey together saw an engagement in 2020, followed by their wedding in August 2021. They tied the knot at the Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester after postponing their plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the delay, the couple described their special day as the “best day of [their] lives.” In a touching nod to their shared passion, goldsmith Richard Talman from The Repair Shop crafted their bespoke wedding rings.

In July 2022, the couple welcomed their daughter, choosing to keep her name private. Will has openly expressed his joy about fatherhood, sharing heartfelt moments about the new addition to their family. “I love her so much,” he told Hello! Magazine. “It was quite tricky to leave home this morning… she’s so sweet in the mornings and just looks up at you. I’m absolutely in love. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done, having a child.”

Expanding their family further, Will and Polly joyfully announced the birth of their son in 2023. Now a happy family of four, they continue to balance their private life with Will’s growing popularity on The Repair Shop, which airs Wednesdays on BBC One.
