Volvo Driver Injured in Andoversford Crossroads Crash with Mercedes Van

Police appeal for witnesses and information following the collision in Gloucestershire.

A collision at the crossroads near Andoversford involving a gold Volvo car and a white Mercedes Sprinter Van resulted in the hospitalization of the Volvo driver, a man in his 30s. The incident occurred around 12.55pm on October 23, close to Cotswold Trailers on the A436.

The driver of the van and a child who was a passenger in the Volvo emerged unharmed. Gloucestershire Police have issued an appeal for witnesses, specifically requesting anyone with video footage of the incident to come forward.

According to a police statement, “Emergency services were called to the A436 near Cotswold Trailers shortly before 12.55pm on Monday, October 23 following reports of a two-vehicle collision on the crossroads. The driver of the car, a man in his 30s, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. A child who was also traveling in the car and the driver of the van were not injured.”

Police urge anyone with information about the collision to submit it online, referencing incident 203 of 23 October.
