Vogue Williams has candidly opened up about witnessing a fellow celebrity throw a “filthy little strop” after being eliminated from a reality TV show. The Irish podcaster and TV personality first came into the spotlight in 2015 when she won Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, besting competitors like Kelly Holmes and Mike Tindall.
The show tested celebrities through a tough 12-day survival challenge in the wilderness, involving daunting tasks such as rappelling down waterfalls, building shelters from scratch, and sourcing food and water. After each stage, Bear Grylls judged the celebrities’ performances and eliminated those who couldn’t keep up.
Reflecting on her experience in her memoir Big Mouth, Vogue described Mission Survive as a pivotal moment in her career—one she approached with unwavering commitment. “On Bear Grylls: Mission Survive I drank my own pss, ate live scorpions and roasted rats on the fire – all in the name of TV,” she shared. “There wasn’t much I wouldn’t do to win that show and advance my career. Warm pss? YES PLEASE!”

While Vogue embraced the challenges with resilience, she noted that not all contestants handled the pressure well. “Some of them on that show were just ridiculous,” she said. “I’m not here to name names but one person threw a filthy little strop for being thrown off the show, went back to the hotel and cleared out the entire mini bar in a fit of spite. GET A GRIP.”
For Vogue, the experience was about persistence and growth rather than tantrums. “How could I learn from anything if I didn’t try stuff out?” she added.
Her remarks come as she was recently voted out of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2025, becoming the third celebrity to leave the show. Vogue exited alongside model Kelly Brook after landing in the bottom two. Her departure followed comedian Eddie Kadi’s exit on Sunday and sports broadcaster Alex Scott’s on Friday.
Post-elimination, Vogue also commented on the ongoing tensions within the I’m A Celebrity camp. Married to reality TV star Spencer Matthews since 2018, she noted that some contestants, like “Ginge and Aitch,” were reluctant to do chores. “I don’t really understand the whole cup-gate. I just turned into what I’m like at home,” she said.
Vogue, who shares three children with Spencer—Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, two—was greeted by her agent Louisa McDonald after leaving the Australian jungle. Spencer, currently participating in a demanding Ironman challenge, was unable to join her in Australia.
