Authorities are conducting an urgent search for Gavin, a 40-year-old man from the Forest of Dean, who has been missing since Saturday morning. Gavin was last seen at his home in Lydney around 6 a.m. and has not made contact since, raising concerns among family and police.
Gloucestershire Constabulary confirmed, “Gavin’s disappearance is out of character as he has not returned or communicated with anyone since he was last seen.”
Search operations are currently focused in the Lydney Harbour area, with assistance from the National Police Air Service and the Severn Area Rescue Association. A police helicopter is actively involved in the search efforts.

Gavin is described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build, with short black hair and a long beard. He was last seen wearing tracksuits and trainers, possibly carrying a green cross-body bag and wearing a long green coat.
