Unprovoked Attack on Teenager in Stroud Sparks Police Appeal

A 19-year-old man was violently attacked by three men in an unprovoked incident on King Street in Stroud, leaving him with facial injuries and bruises. The assault took place between 12:30 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 24, and is being treated as a serious crime by Gloucestershire Police.

The victim, a local resident, was assaulted by a group of strangers. During the altercation, his wallet and phone were stolen. He sustained injuries to his face and body and was transported to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment as a precaution.

Gloucestershire Police have now released CCTV images of three men they believe were involved in the attack and are urging anyone who recognizes them to come forward. Authorities emphasize the importance of public assistance in identifying and locating these individuals to ensure justice is served.

A police spokesperson stated, “This was an unprovoked assault that has had a significant impact on the victim. We are committed to identifying those responsible and ask anyone with information to contact us.”
