Gloucestershire Police are investigating two robbery incidents reported in Gloucester on the night of Saturday, 15 August. The first event took place just before 11pm on Hempsted Lane, where a man was grabbed by the collar and questioned about his possessions. Fortunately, the victim managed to evade the assailant and promptly contacted the authorities.
Shortly afterwards, on Stroud Road, a second victim was confronted by a man who inquired about money. Upon receiving a negative response, the suspect drew what appeared to be a knife and threatened to stab the victim if he was not telling the truth. The victim complied and handed over a small sum of money. The suspect then fled the scene when an orange BMW passed by, causing him to be startled.
Police believe the same individual was responsible for both robberies. The suspect has been described as a black male, approximately 6ft tall with curly hair, dressed in black clothing and wearing a balaclava.
