Tuffley Rovers Announce New Three-Year Stadium Sponsorship Deal

Tuffley Rovers have secured a significant new sponsorship deal that will see their home ground renamed the R B Walters Estate Agents Stadium at Glevum Park. The arrangement, agreed this week, spans three years and takes effect immediately.

The club, which has played at Glevum Park since the early 1980s, welcomed Russ and Beth Walters, owners of the local independent estate agency R B Walters, as their new stadium sponsors. Living near the ground and with family connections to the team, the Walters are delighted to support the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side.

Club secretary Neil Spiller emphasised the importance of choosing the right partner for renaming their longstanding home. “We have a deep attachment to the name Glevum Park, which has been associated with our ground for almost 50 years,” he said. “Changing the name was a decision we approached cautiously, ensuring that the new name would feel like a natural progression. Russ and Beth understood this and have been very supportive of retaining Glevum Park within the stadium’s new title.”

Russ Walters shared the reasoning behind their sponsorship: “Beth and I opened R B Walters Estate Agents five years ago, and as local supporters with family involved in the club, we’ve been eager to contribute. Our connections run deep: one of our sons played Under-18s football, our nephew has featured in the first team for three seasons, and another son has signed up this season. Sponsoring the stadium was an opportunity we couldn’t miss, and we look forward to supporting the team and engaging with the local community.”

After a challenging start to the 2026/27 season, which included an early exit from the Emirates FA Cup, Tuffley Rovers have built momentum with three consecutive wins and currently sit second in the Premier Division. Their upcoming fixtures include a match against title contenders Roman Glass St George, followed by a local derby against Longlevens on Bank Holiday Monday at 3pm-the first game at the newly named stadium.

Vice chairman Alex Butler expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “This is a landmark deal for Tuffley Rovers, reflecting our shared commitment to local sport and community values. From the outset, R B Walters Estate Agents demonstrated a true passion for supporting grassroots football. We’re grateful for their belief in our vision and excited about working together to develop the club on and off the pitch.”
