Tuffley Rovers Announce New Stadium Sponsor in Significant Club Development

Tuffley Rovers have secured a major sponsorship deal, seeing their home ground renamed the R B Walters Estate Agents Stadium at Glevum Park with immediate effect. This three-year agreement with local estate agents Russ and Beth Walters marks a significant milestone for the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division club.

The club’s ground, which has been their base since the early 1980s, will now carry the title incorporating both the new sponsor’s name and its long-standing identity, reflecting a careful decision to retain the traditional connection with Glevum Park.

Club secretary Neil Spiller highlighted the importance of this partnership. He explained that although the club has enjoyed the stability of their home since purchasing the site off Lower Tuffley Lane in 2016, the naming rights have become a priority in recent years. Spiller stressed the club was cautious about changing the stadium’s name, wanting to ensure any new title would represent a natural progression and be welcomed by supporters. He praised the Walters’ approach to the arrangement, which maintains the historic Glevum Park name within the new stadium title.

Russ Walters shared that the decision to sponsor Tuffley Rovers was a long-considered one. Having opened R B Walters Estate Agents five years ago, Russ and Beth have close ties to the club through family connections, including their children’s participation in various team levels. Russ said, “We did not want to miss the opportunity to support such a great local club. We look forward to backing the team and engaging with supporters at the R B Walters Estate Agents Stadium at Glevum Park.”

The club’s 2026/27 season has seen a promising turnaround after a challenging start, with three consecutive wins placing them second in the Premier Division table. Upcoming fixtures include a match against Roman Glass St George and a local derby at home against Longlevens on Bank Holiday Monday.

Vice chairman Alex Butler expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership, highlighting shared ambitions and community values between Tuffley Rovers and R B Walters Estate Agents. Butler emphasised the importance of this partnership in helping to develop the club both on and off the pitch and expressed optimism about future achievements.

R B Walters Estate Agents are a multi award-winning independent agency based in Gloucester, known for their community involvement and local engagement. This new stadium sponsorship represents a significant collaboration for both the club and the estate agency, fostering a strong community connection.
