Tribute to Beloved Dad Killed in Fatal Biker Crash on A36

The family of Rob Best, 62, who tragically died in a motorcycle collision on the A36 in Wiltshire, have paid a touching tribute celebrating his life and spirit. Rob was riding with a friend on the morning of Saturday, May 31, when their journey to Normandy took a devastating turn.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., a serious crash involving a car and four motorcycles occurred near Knook, close to Warminster. This accident resulted in the death of Rob Best and left three other motorcyclists hospitalized.

Sharing their grief through a statement via Wiltshire Police, Rob’s family described him as a deeply cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend. They expressed gratitude to those who stopped to assist Rob and his companions while waiting for emergency services.
