Police are urgently seeking the public’s assistance following the theft of a van from a quiet residential street in Eastington, near Stroud. The incident occurred on Monday, February 23, at approximately 7:45 pm when unknown suspects stole a white Ford Transit van.
Surveillance footage captured the van being driven at high speed along Bath Road and Alkerton Road shortly after it was taken. Authorities believe a red Vauxhall Insignia could be connected to the robbery, as CCTV from a nearby property showed this vehicle moving slowly towards the van shortly before the theft.
Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage, or who witnessed any suspicious activity around the time of the crime, to come forward. Information can be reported via the Gloucestershire Police website, referencing incident 140 of February 24.
