Tonight, lottery players have the chance to win a £2 million jackpot in the National Lottery draws taking place on Wednesday, July 22.
Earlier this month, the National Lottery introduced an exciting new format called “New Lotto,” which doubles the action. Each Lotto draw, held every Wednesday and Saturday, now features two rounds. This means every line of numbers played offers two opportunities to win, all for the same ticket price. The update aims to create more winners, with expectations of more than doubling the number of millionaires made.
In each round, players who match all six numbers win the jackpot. However, the overall prize pot is shared between the winners of both rounds. This new format increases the chances of winning a prize but also raises the possibility that jackpots might be divided among multiple winners.

Tonight’s draws begin with the Lotto at 8:00 PM, followed by the Thunderball draw at 8:15 PM. The National Lottery also hosts EuroMillions draws on Tuesdays and Fridays, and Set For Life draws on Mondays and Thursdays.
