Tonight’s Lotto Draw Offers £2 Million Jackpot and Thunderball Results

A tempting jackpot of £2 million is available to Lotto players in tonight’s National Lottery draw. Earlier this year, the National Lottery introduced changes to its format, adding extra excitement for participants.

The new system features two rounds in each Wednesday and Saturday Lotto draw, effectively doubling the chances of winning a prize with every line entered, while maintaining the same ticket price. This means players now have two opportunities to match numbers and win a jackpot in each draw.

Winning the jackpot requires matching all six numbers in either round. However, the jackpot is shared across both rounds, which increases the opportunity to win but also the possibility of sharing the prize with others. The National Lottery anticipates these changes will produce more winners and millionaires than before.

In the most recent Saturday draw on 26 September, one lucky player won the substantial £5.8 million jackpot, and three new millionaires were created. Below are the winning numbers from that draw, along with the Thunderball results.

Lotto winning numbers:

  • Round 1: 18, 26, 48, 49, 51, 53; Bonus ball: 33
  • Round 2: 25, 52, 53, 54, 55, 57; Bonus ball: 26

Thunderball winning numbers:

  • Main numbers: 19, 24, 29, 33, 36
  • Thunderball: 4

Tickets can be purchased throughout the week, with sales on draw days-Saturday and Wednesday-closing at 7.30pm. For those interested in additional games, EuroMillions draws take place every Tuesday and Friday, and the Set for Life game runs on Mondays and Thursdays.

The Thunderball draw occurs four times a week-Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday-with a top prize of £500,000.

It is worth remembering that playing the lottery raises millions of pounds annually for good causes across the country.

Good luck to all players!
