Thieves Steal 1.5 Tonne Excavator from Cotswold Cricket Ground

A 1.5 tonne excavator has been stolen from the Lechlade cricket ground in the Cotswolds. The theft is suspected to have taken place between 10 pm on March 31 and 9 am on April 1, with the perpetrators believed to have used a trailer to load the heavy machinery and abscond from the scene.

Gloucestershire police are seeking the public’s assistance in gathering information about the incident. They are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who may have witnessed any suspicious activities preceding or following the theft.
