A popular toy store at the top of Cheltenham town centre’s High Street is closing down. The Entertainer toy shop has announced its closure as shoppers continue to rely on online retailers. Visit the store before it closes on January 6 for last-minute Christmas shopping.

Gloucester is set for a major transformation as plans for a vibrant garden quarter in the city’s centre receive an £11 million funding boost. The Greyfriars Quarter project will revamp the area around the Eastgate Shopping Centre, featuring a new market hall, community spaces, a foodhall, and park and gardens.

Cheltenham has been granted £20m to kickstart the National Cyber Innovation Centre at the heart of the Golden Valley Development. The funding will play a crucial role in establishing the West Cheltenham scheme to propel the town as a cyber and technology center.
