Tewkesbury Fields Care Home Launches Town-Wide Scarecrow Competition

Tewkesbury Fields Care Home in Bushley, part of Barchester Healthcare, is bringing the community together with a town-wide scarecrow competition. The care home has invited locals from schools, charities, community groups, sports clubs, and businesses to participate in creating hand-crafted scarecrows, intending to highlight the local support and services available in Tewkesbury.

The submission deadline for scarecrows is May 7, with judging by residents at a special public event on May 11. The competition is part of the wider May Festival hosted at Tewkesbury Fields Care Home.

Edrianne Baluyut, the general manager, expressed excitement about the initiative, looking forward to showcasing all the services and support groups in the community and bringing fun and creativity to the home.
