Tesco Recalls Grape & Berry Medley Due to Salmonella Contamination

Tesco has issued an immediate recall of its Tesco Grape & Berry Medley following the detection of Salmonella bacteria during routine quality checks. Customers who have purchased the 230g pack with use-by dates of February 16 or 17, 2026, are advised not to consume the product.

Salmonella infection can cause symptoms such as fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) recommends that anyone showing these symptoms stay away from work, school, or nursery for at least 48 hours after symptoms cease to avoid spreading the infection.

If you have bought the affected Tesco Grape & Berry Medley, you can return it to any Tesco store for a full refund—no receipt is required. Tesco clarified that no other products are involved in this recall and apologised for any inconvenience caused.

This recall is part of a wider series of food safety alerts, including a separate withdrawal by Brioche Pasquier of a batch of Pitch Chocolate Brioche 6-packs due to possible contamination with hard white plastic pieces. These brioche products are sold at multiple supermarkets, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and Morrisons.
