A group of six teenage boys wearing black clothing and balaclavas attempted to rob a 16-year-old girl in Coney Hill Park, Gloucester, on Saturday evening, leaving her “extremely shaken”.
The incident took place at approximately 5:15pm on 12 September near Metz Way. Five of the boys were riding electric bikes while one was on foot when they approached the girl and tried to snatch her phone. During the encounter, one of the teenagers reportedly used a stun gun to deliver an electrical shock to her leg.
Gloucestershire Police conducted a search of the area shortly after the event, but the suspects had already fled in the direction of Metz Way. No arrests have been made so far.

A police spokesperson confirmed that the girl was unharmed physically but deeply distressed by the attack. The suspects are described as four white boys and two Black boys, all estimated to be between 14 and 15 years old.
Officers are appealing to anyone who was in Coney Hill Park or the surrounding Metz Way area at the time, or who may have CCTV or doorbell footage capturing the group, to come forward with information to assist with the investigation.
