Teenager Stabbed in Stroud Park and Hospitalised

A 15-year-old boy was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital after a stabbing incident near a park in Stroud on Saturday evening, September 12. Emergency services were called to Slad Road at approximately 7:25pm following reports that a teenage boy had been stabbed at the park.

The victim received medical treatment at the hospital, and fortunately, his injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-changing. Gloucestershire Police conducted a search in the vicinity and subsequently arrested an 18-year-old boy on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in police custody as enquiries continue.

Police believe the individuals involved are known to each other, and the attack is regarded as an isolated incident. Officers are seeking anyone who witnessed the event or has any information or CCTV footage relevant to the case to come forward.
