A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital following a stabbing incident near a park in Stroud on Saturday evening, September 12. Emergency services responded to reports at approximately 7.25pm on Slad Road, where it was reported that a teenage boy had stabbed another.
The victim was treated at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and police have indicated that his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
An 18-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody at the time of this update.
Authorities have stated that those involved are known to each other and have described the stabbing as an isolated incident.
