Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 17, are set to appear in court next month after being charged with the murder of a man in his 40s in Cheltenham. The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 16, in the St Paul’s area, specifically on a lane between Albert Street and Hungerford Street.
In addition to the murder charges, both teenagers are also accused of robbery and possession of a bladed article. Bristol Crown Court has announced that their plea hearing is scheduled for March 12.
A third teenager, 18 years old and also from Cheltenham, was arrested on December 23 in connection with the investigation. However, the specific charges against him have not been disclosed by the police.

The local community was left in shock by the tragic event. Resident Carol Robertson expressed her disbelief, saying, “You don’t expect things like this on your doorstep. It’s a quiet area here and people tend to keep themselves to themselves. People will be very shocked by what happened.”
