Two teenage boys, aged 15 and 17, charged with the murder of a man in his 40s in Cheltenham are scheduled to appear in court next month. The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 16, in the St Paul’s area, where the victim tragically lost his life.
In addition to murder, the boys face charges of robbery and possession of a bladed article. Bristol Crown Court has confirmed their plea hearing is set for March 12.
A third teenager, aged 18 and also from Cheltenham, was arrested on December 23 in connection with the investigation, though police have not disclosed the specifics of his charges.

The death happened on a lane between Albert Street and Hungerford Street, leaving local residents shocked. Carol Robertson, a nearby resident, expressed her disbelief: “You don’t expect things like this on your doorstep. It’s usually a quiet area where people keep to themselves. People will be very shocked by what happened.”
