A 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a stranger on a Coleford bus before alert passengers helped remove the man from the vehicle.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 17, at approximately 11:25 a.m. when the suspect boarded the number 22 bus and sat beside the teenage girl. The victim attempted to move away, but the man blocked her and inappropriately touched her without consent.
Nearby passengers quickly intervened, informing the bus driver who stopped the bus to facilitate the removal of the suspect with the help of another passenger.

Authorities identified and arrested a man in his 20s from Coleford in connection with the assault. Gloucestershire Police have charged the individual and he remains in custody ahead of a court hearing scheduled for Thursday, July 16, at Gloucester Crown Court.
