A disturbing incident occurred outside a café in Cheltenham last month when a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a stranger. Gloucestershire Police are actively investigating the case after the teenage victim reported being touched on the thigh without her consent.
According to police, the man approached the girl and her friend while they sat outside a Regent Street café, initially asking for directions. He then sat beside one of the teenagers and placed his hand on her thigh without permission.
A nearby customer noticed the behavior and confronted the man, informing him that he had been seen “following girls earlier that day,” causing distress among those young women. Following this warning, the suspect quickly left the scene and ran away.
