The incident occurred around 12:30 pm on Thursday, June 18, near Darleydale Close. The boy reported that a grey Whippet approached him, jumped up, and bit his shoe, causing minor foot injuries. Although the dog’s owner—a woman described as white—leashed her dog and pulled it away, she did not check on the boy’s condition before walking off.
