A new strategic and local plan (SLP) is shaping where housing will be developed across Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Tewkesbury over the next 20 years, targeting a total of 43,000 new homes. Around 6,000 of these homes are proposed near villages including Badgeworth, Shurdington, Up Hatherley, Warden Hill, and The Reddings, according to the Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (HELAA).
