Approximately 200 members of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) gathered from midday to 3pm to oppose the use of the base by US bombers flying missions to Iran amid the ongoing conflict. In response to the demonstration, Gloucestershire Police increased their presence in the area and implemented road closures affecting dozens of routes throughout the day.
