Held at Loughborough University, SGS Pride fell 20-6 to the Brunel Burners in a hard-fought match. Head Coach Ben Herod, based at SGS’s Stoke Gifford campus, acknowledged the challenge posed by Brunel’s roster, which featured several American players. “We were clear underdogs going in, but our defence really showed up and surprised many,” he said.
