The incident occurred on the evening of Thursday, July 2. Emergency services responded to reports of an injured man at a property on Alney Terrace around 9 p.m. Upon arrival, the elderly victim was found with suspected stab wounds and was immediately taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after admission.
