A fixture on the high street, the family-run business announced the closure of its clothes and household items store on Newerne Street on Saturday, March 28. Raymond’s Stores, which also operates a carpet retail outlet in nearby Coleford, has been a staple for menswear, ladieswear, shoes, and household goods. The Lydney location was reportedly managed by Raymond’s daughter, Gloria, and granddaughter, Hayley, who expressed heartfelt thanks to their loyal customers.
