The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 pm on Honeybourne Way. According to Gloucestershire Police, the suspects were first seen on the Millennium Bridge throwing a large branch at a passing cyclist—who was unharmed. Shortly thereafter, the two boys encountered a 73-year-old man on Honeybourne Way.
