The recall affects brown and green hand-grinding pepper mills manufactured in India and sold across the UK. The Office for Product Safety and Standards issued a safety alert highlighting that the pepper mills contain lead concentrations exceeding legal limits under the REACH Enforcement Regulations 2008. Because of this serious chemical hazard, Primark has instructed customers to cease using the product immediately and return it to any Primark store for a full refund.
