Watson joined Forest Green last summer, initially focusing on goalkeeping coaching before expanding his role to include overseeing offensive set pieces, notably ahead of their September match against Morecambe. Watson is the second coaching staff member appointed by manager Robbie Savage to depart the club, following Wayne Hatswell’s exit after just one month.
