The teenager was struck by a silver Volkswagen Polo around midnight on Sunday, May 24, near the A435 Cheltenham to Bishop’s Cleeve Cycleway close to Finlay Way. Passersby immediately stopped to assist the victim before emergency services arrived. The boy was rushed to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where he is being treated for a suspected broken ankle.
