The collision occurred at around 5:30 pm on Sunday, July 5, on Coalway Road. Gloucestershire Police responded to reports that a silver Mercedes CLS 320, driven by a local woman, had collided with the pedestrian at a residential property. The victim sustained serious injuries to her head and body and was transported to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for emergency treatment.
