The event occurred around 2:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 2. Eyewitnesses reported hearing what sounded like gunfire during the collision between at least two cars. However, when officers arrived, the vehicles involved had already fled the scene. Authorities later located and seized one of the suspected vehicles, which is now undergoing forensic examination.
